Delete your account

You can permanently delete your bHop account and the data associated with it at any time — from the app, or right here if you no longer have access to it.

Delete from the app

1. Open bHop and go to the My Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Profile.
3. Confirm. Deletion starts immediately.

Delete without the app

If you can't access the app, email info@blindsparksgroup.com with the phone number your account is registered under. To protect your account, we'll verify that you control that number (for example, by texting it a confirmation code) before deleting. Requests are honored the same way as in-app deletion.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your sign-in account and profile, your photos, your matches, likes, and passes, your date and video-call history, your event activity (RSVPs, check-ins, attendee-list choices, and reward redemptions), and your settings. Data is removed or anonymized within 90 days of your request.

What we may keep

A few narrow exceptions, described in full in Section 10 of our Privacy Policy:

• If your account has an unresolved safety report, related data is kept until the review completes — never longer than 90 days from your deletion request.
• If your account was suspended or banned for violating our Terms of Service, we keep an irreversible cryptographic hash of your phone number so the ban stays enforced. It cannot be reversed to reveal your number and is used for nothing else.
• Records we are legally required to retain.
